History of IVLE

IVLE is a courseware management system first designed and

developed by the Wizlearn Pte Ltd,. to manage and support teaching,

learning and courseware management over the Internet. Aside from

facilitating the organization of course materilas on the web, IBLE also

provides a wide variety of tools and resources that can be added to

a course. Supplementing classroom teaching of more than 2,400 courses

and reaching some 28,000 students, IVLE provides tools for discussion

forums, online chat, auto marked quizzes, class distribution lists,

electronic mail, course FAQ builders, lesson plans, automatic index

generation, staff homepages, course calendar, subscription services,

assignment repositories, templates and much more.

IVLE is a learning management system, designed to manage

and support training and education over the Internet. IVLE provides

numerous easy-to-set-up online tools and resources that lecturers may

use to complement existing classroom-based learning. These include

Chat Rooms, Discussion Forums, Glossary, Course Web Builder,

Assessments a nd etc.

To the Lyceum of Batangas, this IVLE will be used as a

tool to improve the services in the delivery of the curriculum and

classroom instruction since instructional time can be extended even

if the teachers and students are outside their classes as long as the

students have access to internet;

To all colleges, especially the College of Computer Studies

who will pioneer the project, this learning environment will create a

"high tech image" to the community since we can integrate technology

in the delivery of instructin outside the classroom;

To the faculty memebers, this IVLE will give them the

opportunity to give all instructional resources that can be available

on-line to their students wihout the cost of reproducing lectures,

hand-outs and other instructional materials.
